I just wanted to stop in and tell everyone Happy Thanksgiving! There are several things that I am thankful for this year. My biggest issue right now is that I am glad my family is overcoming the medical diversities we are facing this holiday season.
My father is recovering very well from his quadruple bypass surgery that he had a few weeks ago.
My grandfather had to be admited into the hospital last night, but all seems to be going well. He only has one lung, and he has the beginnings of pneumonia, but they have caught it early, and it will be just fine.
My back....well let's just say that at least I am able to get around right now. That is a blessing. It still hurts, but I am able to deal with it. So I count that as a blessing to be thankful for.
The rest of my family are all healthy and doing just fine.
My son is amazing, and that is a treasured gift.
I do not have a job, and my husband is trying to find another job to supplement, but that means that we are barely paying the bills and have NO money for Christmas for my son, but at least we are together. I will have to do what I can for Christmas somehow.
I have my friends (both in person and online) and that is a blessing.
I feel that all around, I am truly blessed. What are you thankful for this year? Let me know! I love to hear other people's stories! Tess

You have such a great attitude - I'm sure you will find a way to make things work out for your family!
I am so grateful for my BF. There was a time that I didn't think that we would ever be together at all, yet this will be our second Thanksgiving together. Now, we have the added bonus of one of his daughters.
We are healthy, happy, and things will be really tight this holiday season, but I wouldn't trade it for the world!
As for posting this article:
Shaunee, Gwen and Sandy....thank you for stopping by and do not eat too much today! :-)
I am thankful that I have been truly blessed in never having been out of work, never having a hard time finding a job and just thankful that my life has turned out well in general being that I started with literally a car and a TV set and that was about it at 17 when I moved out on my own. I am also thankful for being able to find such a wonderful house and neighborhood to purchase on such short notice this summer. I am thankful that my 8 cats are happy and healthy. I am thankful I have a boyfriend who cooks and cleans and works his butt off to pay half of the mortgate. LOL I am thankful for a lot...sorry this got so long.
Keep up the good work :-) And it is quite ok tha the comment is long. I do not mind one bit. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I hope you had a wonderful Turkey Day.
