Knitting Mill Antiques and Foodworks is located on Manufacturers Road in North Chattanooga across the Tennessee River. "Originally constructed in 1916 by the Signal Apparel Company, the two-and-a-half story brick building was utilized for the manufacture of various types of clothing for shipment worldwide. Additions were made in 1922 and 1933 to complete the 80,000 square foot structure as it stands today." Today we had a late lunch at Food Works which is located on one end of the structure. I took some photos of the inside and a few of the artwork on the walls. My favorite painting is of the bridges over the Tennesse River in Chattanooga. The painting's list price was $8,000 and belongs to Food Works. I love the interior of this restaurant and the food is good too. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad for $12 and almost cleaned my plate/bowl, but I didn't have breakfast and this was a late lunch.
