Here's a good easy recipe for a MARBLEIZED PEPPERMINT BARK. I got it from my friend, Di, years ago. We think it's pretty good!
MARBLEIZED PEPPERMINT BARK CANDY
INGREDIENTS:
1/3 cup mint flavored chocolate pieces or semisweet chocolate pieces
1 to 1-1/2 # vanilla candy coating, cut up
3/4 cup finely crushed round peppermint candies (about 35 candies)
DIRECTIONS:
1) Line baking sheet with foil.
2) Melt chocolate pieces in small sauce pan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat.
3) Heat candy coating over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from heat.
4) Stir crushed candy into melted coating.
5) Pour melted coating onto baking sheet. Spread to about a 3/8 inch thickness.
6) Drizzle with melted chocolate. Gently zig-zag a spatula through chocolate and melted bark.
7) Let candy cool several hours, until firm (or chill in refrigerator 30 minutes).
8) Break into pieces and store tightly covered.

I am a big fan of EASY. Thanks!
Your kids could probably help you make it, if they're not too little. It's a fun "family" project!
Right you are! Thanks for mentioning it!
Thanks for checking in!
Nice of you to comment!
It will go in the basket of goodies that everyone is getting from me for the holidays this year.
That sounds perfect.I bet it will look pretty, too. Thanks.
Let them help you make it. My daughter used to help me with it and it was fun:0).
I just melt white chocolate, crush up some candy canes, and then mix the two together. Spread it all out on parchment paper, stick it in the freezer, and 1/2 hour later I remove it and break it into pieces. Or I melt dark chocolate first, spread it on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Freeze it. Then while it is freezing, I melt the white chocolate, crush the candy canes, mix the two together, spread it on top of the cold chocolate portion and then freeze that. Break it into pieces and gift! So easy. Just delicious. Huge hit.
I think I've been making it for about 5 years now.
