Trans Siberian Orchestra

All I can say is WOW.  Before I went to the concert last night I was not a fan of The Trans Siberian Orchestra.    NOW I AM!!  Like most people I had only heard the one popular mainstream song the had out at Christmas time.  

This "concert" was not a concert at all to me.  It was indeed a magical musical experience.  It starts as a play of sorts.  There is a story to be told and it is narrated.  It is so awesome.  In a country where God is taken out of everything it seems, this was so refreshing.  The first half was a Christmas story and they focus on the birth of Jesus Christ and it was beautiful.  

Not only was the story amazing, but the light show was phenomenal!!!   Fire on the back of the stage, laser lights, fireworks and we got SNOWED on...all I can say is that the combination of the story, the music and the atmosphere~ the emotions that were stirred up can do nothing but put you in the Spirit of Christmas.  

This show was sold out in Pittsburgh for both shows this year and last.  They also donated $23,000 to our local Energy Fund to help the less fortunate heat their homes this winter.  The donation was matched so they raised $46,000 for our area alone!!!   Talk about giving back. 

If you have the opportunity to see this awesome magical musical experience...don't pass it up!!!
