Holiday getting to know (me)you

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? yes please :)

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? we were broke and had to tell the kids very young that...Santa doesn't give more expensive gifts to kids who's parents can't afford them themselves, 'cuz he doesn't want the parents to feel bad. :)  But neighbor kids told them at a young age :(...I do them anyways. :)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? colored

4. Do you hang mistletoe? my mom always did a kissing ball(fake)that she's had for years. I'm looking to make one this year.

5. When do you put up your decorations? I like to start after halloween, if it works out.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish? my dad's homemade fudge--only thing that isn't made all year 'rounf.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: ?  Ice skating on thanksgiving

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't remember.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? not really, since the kids are at their dad's.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? Lots of homemade decorations, from everyone. I also have a Bumble that I put up near the star :)

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it!!!!!

12. Can you ice skate? not too well

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My oldest brother one year got me a red-ridinghood doll--had her on one end, and flipped over to have granny on one side, the wolf on the other.

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? The whole feeling of peace and love everywhere--even if it's only one day.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Pumpkin pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? decorating the tree

17. What tops your tree? Usually a star.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving? Giving .

19. What is your favorite Christmas song? "What Child is This" as performed by Chicago; and "Christmas Medley" that's at the end of the Statler Brothers 1st Christmas album(I can't remember if it's "Card" or "Present")...and Randy Travis' version of "The Christmas Song"(I think that's right?)

20. Candy Canes? definately

21. Do you feel Christmas is too commercialized? Yeah, but each person/family has to bring it to their level, making it more personal

22. What is you favorite Christmas movie? "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!"
