near the house..

On a sunday afternoon in November when Mom could get in the truck.

And I was READY to get out of here for awhile!

And I NEEDED to get out of this place awhile.
which is WHY I live here instead of Podunk City.

and though quiet, not quite alone..

Wildlife abounds.
Fall colors turning.
As the sun sets in the west.

Life persevers.

Beautiful and inspiring. I'm glad you and your mom got out for a day in nature. It really helps put things in perspective - even in a very stressful and sad situation like you are dealing with now. What gorgeous photos. LOVED the lily pad - I don't get a chance to see many of those.
