Jan...this is my kind of Chapel on a Sunday morning. Strange I was out in my Cathedral this morning also taking pictures...but instead of a blue jean shirt I was bundled up in an LL Bean parka, mittens and gloves for it was 28 degrees out.

I love the sunlight coming through in the second picture.

Jan, the light in the woods is truly magical. Your Cathedral with snowed mushrooms looks beautiful.
Your calming haiku does the rest in hooking us to this spot of calm and serenity. I would love to give up my city life and roam these calm , serene places with so much to offer to the soul.

You crafted so well here a fresh air sacral experience, mysterious as those blooming mushrooms and familiar as mother and son, your husband´s images infused by your words with a hallowed feel of the moveable Mass.
