Good stuff
shining bright, hikers delight
worship everything
These are beautiful - you've made good use of a grand morning.
Is that your son?
With your leafy umbrella
Wise sermon fella!
I love the sunlight coming through in the second picture.
These are lovely photos, Jan. That second one is awesome with the light streaming in.
Your calming haiku does the rest in hooking us to this spot of calm and serenity. I would love to give up my city life and roam these calm , serene places with so much to offer to the soul.
I feel the grace from above
and pause in wonder
forest floor fecund with growth
light, shade and fungi
Grace from the sun's beam blesses
Our peaceful valley
that's really a beautiful place to have services... Blessings...
I am reminded of the childhood fingerplay: "Here is the church, here is the steeple, open the door and out come the people."
through hard footpaths, prayers
suncascade into branched embrace
gently shadowing a Mother's joy
beaming in sacred love
son's gentle witness
reflecting fragile leaves
gifting strengthened hearts
This be good! Holy being in Being!
Lyrical response to and through Sam's view.
and the returns from Gatherites.
