Gather Christmas List

I'd like the ability to view both my public and private groups when publishing my article to my groups, without having to come back and edit to get the second group. It's a pain and there should be a more intuitive way to do it.

In the images page of a Gather member, I would like to see a link at the bottom of the comments as well to view all their pictures. Some images have lots of comments and I hate scrolling back to the top.

Also, I'd love to set up groups for groups. Instead of picking one by one, I would to be able to cluster likeminded groups together. So if I have 5 post anything groups, 3 image only, etc, I click one button and and publish an article to the likeminded groups that it fits, but I also want to retain the ability to pick them one by one.

I would love my images fixed. I've tried the Gather Aid Station, I've tried emailing support when they couldn't help me. I've emailed them well over a week ago. When on the computer I use the most the images disappear when I go to click on them unless they have comments on them or are in the top 4 in a person's namespace.

Speaking of groups, I wish the list of my groups didn't change order depending on which was active last. It's okay to show the top 4 in the namespace that are most active but when you are viewing your list, it'd be nice if I had the option to alphabetize them or search for one amongst my groups only.

A faster way in selecting which groups I want to send my article, recipe or joke to. I have a lot of groups to go through and I find that it takes so much time to click on the My Groups section, wait until it goes onto the Publish To These Groups section, then choose the next group, etc.

When publishing an article I would like to see a font, size and text color in their format menu.

Ashley some of your ideas are ones I've thought of too. Alphabetizing groups AND your people. Being able to create or cluster groups by type. Good ones!

I am with Lune, I haven't published to a good number of groups because of the separation of private groups from the main list...I never thought about reposting though...that's a good idea--I wonder if it works.........

I'd love the ability to fast track my posting to groups according to categories we set like some are mentioning.

I agree with Beverly...Myspace just implemented a way to see your people and groups by alphabetical order. That would be great instead of scrolling through pages and pages.

the groups selection could be made more like an address book where you can group them or choose them individually that would be great!! We could put all our phot ones in a group, all the post everything into one, etc....

All I want for Christmas from Gather:

I would love to be able to go directly to a particular My Articles number page instead of having to hit NEXT each time - for example go to the first (last?) with just one click or to page 12 or page 8 without having to click from page to page.

Also, or better yet, if there was a way to index our articles for an easier search

An easier way to find the last article, image or video that I have viewed without having to search by each page. If I am 3-4 days behind, it is so hard to go by and find the last one I have viewed so I will know where to begin. Maybe on the 'comments by me' it would be nice to have a link (comments by me on an article, comments by me on an image, comments by me on a vcideo) for each, that way you can check your last comment on an the last article or whatever that you viewed and then you would know where to start. (Having to go through 20 pages of images to find the last article that I read is sometimes very time consuming) If there is already an easier way to do this that I an not aware, someone please advise!!! I find it can take several minutes to find where I left off last night when starting back today,... not to fond of wasting time.

Also, I agree with Ashley's first paragraph and Karen's suggestion!!!!!
