1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? both really...but around the holidays more egg nog than anything ;o)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? COLORED (we have a fiber optic tree & it is all colorful & pretty!
4. Do you hang mistletoe? NO I get kisses no matter what LOL jk ;o)
5. When do you put up your decorations? Last minute LOL
6. What is your favorite holiday dish? Ham is good! But Turkey is my fave.
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: BIG FAMILY DINNERS WITH ALL THE RELATIVES! I so miss this!
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Oh I was probably 12 LOL
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? I think we may start this tradition for our family ;o)
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? I made some pipe cleaner icicle things that Martha Stewart made on a show once & they look so good! And cleaner than tinsel. We do the usual glass bulbs & it's a fiber optic tree so no need to string dang lights ;o).
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? depends...
12. Can you ice skate? Not really & I am not supposed to due to rods in my back ;o)
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Last year my mother-in-law took a lot of our pictures that we sent to them on CD & put them into picture form in an album! I cried & I have never cried about a gift before LOL ;o) It was THE best gift ever, because I wanted the actual photos for scrapbooking & I didn't want to print them off the computer (cause they wouldn't look as good). Yeah I would have to say that wins for now ;o).

The year it snowed like bunches and bunches Christmas day while we were down at my grandparents' house (my mom's parents who lived like an hour away). My parents had recently gotten new snow tires on our car. Everyone else left before we did. When we left we kept meeting everyone else all hung up in the snow and had to take them back to my grandparents' house and go get other to help them. My cousins all got to stay at grandma and grandpa's house but my sister and I had to go home because our car could make it through the snow. I hated that! LOL
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I have no idea but probably pretty early on. We lived in a trailer and thus had a stove pipe and not a fireplace! LOL
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
We always did because we went to my other grandparents' house on Christmas Eve. They've both died now. We usually talk Mom and Dad into letting us open something. We have Christmas here in SC about a week or so before we go to WV.

As a kid I always loved the fact that we went to my grandparents' house on Christmas eve, did our own Christmas at our house on Christmas morning, and then went to my other grandparents' house after we got ready that day. I just love being with my family - all of them - mom, dad, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and now my hubby and kids.
17. What tops your tree?
I think a star. We bought an angel but she's too heavy for our tree for somer reason.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
I love to give. Granted I enjoy receiving too (LOL) but I really, really, really enjoy picking out gifts and wrapping them and anticipating the reactions of those who will open it.
