TOMATO~BASIL SAUCE FOR PASTA
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup sliced green onions
3 Large tomatoes, peeled and diced
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1/2 # Angel Hair pasta
Grated Parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS:
in large skillet, heat oil. Add garlic and green onions; stir-fry for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently. Prepare Angel Hair pasta and drain. Toss tomato mixture with hot cooked pasta. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with grated parmesan. Serves 4. You could add cooked chopped bacon, ham, chicken or turkey.

Thanks for commenting. My husband just asked if we can have the kids over for spaghetti the day AFTER Thanksgiving. I thought that was so funny! This is what I'll probably make, only a larger quantity. Can you tell I'm NOT cooking TG dinner? If I was, I'd have to spend the day after in bed, recovering.
