Most of you who've been around on the list since at least the first part of this year know that I lost my dear husband in March. Since then I've gone through many months of grieving and loneliness. Then, a few weeks ago, it seemed as if a cloud lifted and I realized that I was just too darn sad and lonely for too darn long for my liking. So, up came the bootstraps and I got busy. And, yep, I met someone and, yep, I went on a date. It was my first date in over 25 years with someone besides my husband, mind you. I put into place many precautions, giving details to many people concerning when and where and what I wore and so forth, and then proceeded to have a wonderful time. We talked and laughed for 3 hours last night over dinner in a well lit and semi-busy casino restaurant (where cameras in the sky watch everything!) I returned home safe and sound after our meal. I'm ready to go again. What a fun feeling!
