Video Games That Should Be Made into Movies

The New Yorker published an article listing it's top 10 picks for video games that should be made into movies (along with the director's who should lead each project).  http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2007/11/the_10_video_games_that_should.html

Do you agree with their list?  Or are there any other video games that you would love to see on the big screen?

Interesting list. At least there isn't anything overly violent on there. They have Tetris on their list, one of my favorite games. Now how would that movie turn out?! I think it would be weird. I'm imagining with people with funky body suits and wearing tetris pieces on their heads and they're all trying to fit into society together. ha ha ha

Well, I looked at it, but they all look like pretty stupid movies to me. I don't think I'd go see any of them. But that's just me.

As a general rule, I like for my video games to be video games. But it was a pretty funny read, I thought! :)

Is that article a JOKE? LOL Tetris? WOW, Some of those games are just flat out terrible! I would LOVE to see Metroid. That would be tight.

The Oregon Trail would be cool. I'll concur on that one since it's one of my favorite games ever. Otherwise I might suggest, Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego and The Legend Of Zelda (they had the cartoon).

The Orgeon trail would be interesting and Metroid-I'm surprised it hasn't gotten a movie yet. Hm..StarFox would make an interesting movie...a good mario movie.
