There is an unspoiled area in China with crystal clear water.

Trees that have fallen into the lake a visible all the way to the river bed. The fish can be seen swimming in, out, under, and around as though there were no water barrier.

Life here is so unspoiled and the water so pure that even the fallen trees give way to new life above the water surface. This fallen log sticking out of the top of the water has become home to grasses, wildflowes, and even a new sapling.

From the trail around the lake, a suble rainbow of hues decorates the chilly landscape. As I peer through the trees, which have a reddish hue, the blues and greens of the water complete the colorful spectrum.

The area is so peaceful and I couldn't think of a better place for a chilly autumn nature walk.

Leaving for home, I enjoy the rushing misty water that froths and churns, almost glowing against the dulling foliage.
