Excellent! I felt addicted to my ex and I realized how low my self esteem was when it was finally over. It took him leaving me with no phone, no money, no car, little food with our two children for three weeks to realize I was done with him. I forgave him affairs and so much but I could never reunite with him after he left me so far in the lurch after taking the money I had brought with me when I reunited with him the last time. I fully understand the emotion in this one.

My second marriage to a wonderful man is in it's 28th year. It can be better the second time around - there are good men out there!

Very well said! Sometimes people will do things to try to get a reaction from us (that's their way of being in control). When you realize that and do not allow them to make you react, then you are truly free (and being free of that person or thing is truly an awesome experience).

You are so right, he has been out of my life for over 8 years now, I am just now "REALLY" moving on. He has since remarried. I realized """I am my biggest problem""" That was a tough pill to swallow. LOL
