"A Chance Meeting" is a scene I wrote as a challenge by my friend Aaron Lazar to write a scene between my protagonist, Homicide Detective Sam Harper and his protagonist, Gus LeGarde.

This was absolutely delightful, Marta! What a great idea - to get two protagonists together in one scene. Your Sam Harper is a wonderful character - worthy of many a book to come! Gus thanks you for a wonderful scene. ;o)

Hi Aaron, I truly enjoyed this writing challenge. Thanks so much for posting it!

And Gus, I'm not sure if I captured your voice -- it seemed a must though to write this in your POV, besides, it gave me a chance to see Sam from someone else's eyes. LOL I haven't had that much fun in a while. :)

Wow, you two are good! I am in the middle of Upstaged and not wanting it to finish...but I suppose I will be rewarded by my next reading, meeting Sam! I never have been a mystery type...but I am a convert now!
