It is not unusual to see ducks wandering our neighborhood. Sometimes there are only one or two of them, and sometimes there is a whole group, with babies as well.
Yesterday I happened to have a whole family of ducks hanging out right in my own front yard!
They let me get pretty close without running away.
So I got a few photos:
this one turned out the best I think:
And, At the same time, there were actually a group of Egrets wondering around as well.
They didn't let me get as close to them, so I had to zoom in as far as I could with my camera.
They ran across the street when I got too close, and I managed to get this shot of a couple of them flying away.
they didn't fly far tho, just about a house lenght away and so I got these shots
So that was our bird adventure yesterday!

I havn't seen a bunch of poop around, but they do like to wander the neighborhood, and do it quite often!
We have water all around us, so they come from the canals and the harbor.
Marianne~ we have water all around us. I live very close to the harbor, and then we are surrounded by canals all around where our home is.
we have egrets here in our yard too... they come
in groups of 5...
some are grey and most are white... they are sooo cute...
they just wander down the street like they own the place...
i live in orlando in a senior park...
We see these ducks almost every day!
