Thanksgiving in a week! Are you ready?

And I just read an article where the cost of putting on a Thanksgiving dinner has gone up.  What hasn't!! I need to get my shopping done this weekend and I have Wed off which is  cleaning the house/making pie day.. My son and his girlfriend will be here in a week!  Can't wait.. haven't seen them in 7 months!!!

Well, to tell the truth, I don't start getting ready till a day or two before. This year I think we are having Thanksgiving at my Aunt's big huge rambling house with my cousins, parents, my daughter & son & grandson(I hope).

This year will be very simple and quiet for us. Just my hubby and I and mu muttly crew. Our families are all over the country and it is impossible for us to all get together.

We are not hosting this year, so all I need to do is bake a couple of pumpkin cheesecakes and pick up some hostess gifts- easy breezy:)

I have my list and I'm making my way thru it. I think my family will all arrive on Wed. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. LOL

That sounds like your going to have a great holiday! Hubby and I are just going to eat turkey here. Christmas we go visit family : )

I'm sure there will some type of added stress this Thanksgiving besides the usual. It will be great seeing all my relatives and catch up with them.

I'll be settling into the apartment by then. I have no plans but to spend four days
