Hello my Gather Friends!!  Just drop by and leave me a line and let me know how your (day) is going!!

 

Me ~ I had an early start this morning!!  I've been up since 4 a.m. EST.  Last night I did get to bed early though...I was just SO tired I could not stay awake!!  I think it was about 9 p.m. 

Also today my daughter has the day off school so she spent the night at her Grandparents so that's always a break for me!  I read that Wilma had a little scare last night with Liam falling and ending up in the E.R.  Glad he is doing all right as far as I know so far.

It''s now 36 degrees outside and I haven't checked what the weather is to bring today yet.  But there is no doubt ~ fall has definately arrived here in Michigan!  Yesterday was wonderful though!  It got in the 50's! 

Well, I'll be checking in and out of this article all day, so you all just stop by and say"Hi"!  BTW, you all just "Make My Day"!!!!!!!!

It's 3 in the morning here, I haven't gone to sleep yet, so today hasn't yet started for me :) (I guess that means its still yesterday???)

Oh, I thought it was a picture of me before my 2nd cup of coffee. Hi, Deb. I guess a lot of us are up early. I woke at 5 myself and fell asleep way, way too early last night. Couldn't help it. Glad you were able to enjoy some quiet time. I believe in quiet time. Maybe I'll see you later at the cafe.

I was up at 4 as well, But I always do, and I usually go to bed at 9, 9:30. It is gonna warm up a bit today we might make it into the 60"s or at least the high 50's

well I've been up since 4;30. Got caught up on a couple of my CSI miami's, got kids off to school, let dogs out, fed cats, have started my second load of laundry, transferred some money into accounts, and come here. Oh, also on my first pepsi, not too bad for me after being up for 3 and a half hours!
It is 34 degrees here but my desktop says it feels like 26. Light snow flurries also, first of this season! It was 60 degrees yesterday, and is only supposed to get up to 40 today. Fall is slowly creeping away while winter is mozeying on in.
Have a very busy day today but will check in throughout the day!

Good morning Deb. I have been up for about thirty minutes. But got stuck reading an interesting article. Now I actually have to get my shower and get dressed, because Donald has some errands to run and I dont mind looking awful if he is here to answer the door. But when Im alone , I need to get up and about earlier.
Good morning...just stopping by to say hi. It's windy, cool, and drizzling rain here. Supposed to dip into the 30's tonight. I have to get out in it to go to work this evening. :(

Good morning! Well, it's morning, not so sure about the good part :-) I got the kids off to their respective preschools and I'm at work for another chaotic day. I'm glad this week is almost over -- it's just been crazy! Hope everyone has a good day!!

Hey Deb, I had to get showered and dressed before Donald left to run errands. Cant take a chance when Im alone. Last time I did that, I slipped and fell and had to get someone to help me with everything then. Couldnt get dressed by myself or anything.

I am afraid of falling again. I tried to catch on to something but took it down with me. Couldnt move my arms to even comb my hair. That was horrible. So I just quit taking chances. [laughing] besides I was so lazy I didnt even get out of my pajamas yesterday. They just felt so good. Just change into fresh p.j,s they dont have to be ironed.

I am still old fashioned enough, I wont go to town with all wrinkled clothes. Have to at least steam press them. May look like Pippylongstockings around the house, but want to look good when I go to town.

Hi, everyone. I finally got to sleep after my visit to the ER last night with Liam. I haven't heard anything from them during the night so assume he is doing OK. I will be on my way over there in about 20 minutes. Today is "Late Day" at school for the older 2, so they don't have to be there until 10 AM. Then they get out at 12:30!! What a waste of time even going. Usually I just take them at the regular time of 9 AM, so that I can get back to my house. They have a study hall they can go to if they get to school before 10. The late day is so the teachers can "get together" and plan for the school year. I won't even get started on what I think of that! The kids go late EVERY Thursday.

Liam and I have to go to the hospital this morning as it is the once a year "Health Benefits Fair" where they tell us how much our insurance premiums will be for the next year and we have to sign up online in the next 2 wks. Then this afternoon, I have to take ALL the kids back for a 90 minute staff meeting. The only good thing about that is that I get paid for doing it.

It's warmer here today - 40 as opposed to the 22 of yesterday morning.

Good morning Deb! A little tired today. My husband had to work an overnight last night and I never get much sleep on those nights. Not sure why. Don't have much planned for the day. Just trying to catch up on Gather and then on some laundry and cleaning up. But right now I have to go pick my youngest up from school! Have a great day!

By Wilma,s real time. she is probably just delivering the older kids to school. This is a late day there. Then she has an appointment, has to go back and pick the kids up early from school too. Then a conference at Hospital. How does she do it. I would lose my mind trying to keep her schedule.

The benefits fair was very small this year (kind of like OUR BENEFITS), so it didn't take too long for Liam and I to go through it. He got a free pen and a little puzzle and I got a couple pens and a big scratch pad. That was all the excitement there. Last year, they had snacks and games for us. We went through the cafeteria and I let Liam pick up breakfast there, then back here for a bit, then to the bank so Liam can deposit HIS pennies today, then pick up the other 2 kids, then to their house for Liam's nap. After that, we go back to the hospital for my staff meeting. HMMM, maybe I AM that guy up there!

Hey Marge, I have been to Williams page, just sat there laughing for about ten minutes. Bahawana just posted a comment with a book cover on it, that made me laugh so hard, everyone came in to see what I was cackeling about.
I love laughing. Found another one yesterday that cracked me up. OHHHH it was on Connie I love research. An email that was a joke, it was funny.

Deb, my nausea comes in the mornings, I dont think from the medicine. But allergies, I am allergic to the world, and every food that taste good. Why do you think I dont get excited about Thanksgiving anymore.

Okay, I am allergic to any thing that taste good. I am from the south. I love cornbread dressing. I love sweet potatoe pie, and pumpkin pie. I love green bean casserole.
I am allergic to corn, corn products. cinnamon, mushrooms, as in the mushroom soup you use to make the casseroles. So I cook all these things and cant eat them.
I can have turkey,rolls and cranberry sauce. I usually sit there with tears in my eyes, wanting to eat what they are eating. {sob}

hmmm, well I started my day at 3am, finished it at 1pm - ran an errand - took a nap until 8 (so maybe it wasn't really a nap) and now I'm playing on gather...back to be in a few and off to work at 4:30 again...but this week from the bowls of hell is almost over...I am hoping next week isn't as bad....eeeekkkk!

You really didnt feel good at all did you girl. I usually see your cute little things all over gather. You have barely left your page and not even on here much. Gee that new medicine should not make you that sleepy unless you are being overdosed. You have to look those things up and check out the mixing of certain drug interactions. The doctors dont check all those things Deb. Go to Walmart or your pharmacy and buy you a PDR or Physicans Desk Refference is the real title. it will give you a lot of information about your meds.
