GRINNELL, Iowa (CNN) -- The college student who was told what question to ask at one of New York Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign events said "voters have the right to know what happened" and she wasn't the only one who was planted.

I would say that there is much of this going on with political candidates. I think it would be difficult to be in a position to be able to answer every question, but what is wrong with admitting that you don't know the answer but will look into it.

The same thing goes on with many of today's TV reality shows. Why don't people realize that so much of what we see and hear is scripted?

The reason they a candidate will avoid saying ANYTHING that resembles "I don't know" is because it is a 'sign of weakness'. The winning candidate is supposed to be 'all knowing', etc... blah blah blah...
