Vacation with the Family

Wow, for the first time in 5 years, our family got together this last weekend for a vacation.  All of my immediate family made it, which is very rare.  The center of attention was of course my oldest brothers’ kids.  They are so adorable right now, and are the only grandkids in the family.  My wife and I need to get on it to make that change.  Everyone, including his in-laws, were there to see their newborn.  He’s really cute and a heart melter.

 I got to play and read with my niece and nephew a lot.  He got to bring some of his Disney die cast cars and his coloring books.  We also got to take them to a putt putt, which was a lot of fun.  Although, they didn’t quite grasp the concept, it was pretty funny to watch them swing around those clubs and wack away.  We went to a pirate themed place where they had pirate costumes and all kinds of other stuff. 

 We got to golf yesterday, which was a lot of fun, but I played really bad.  Your short game goes to hell when you don’t play often.  Altogether, it was a great trip.  Great time with the family.
