Tom Crann talked with WBUR reporter Monica Brady-Myerov, who covered the 2004 Democratic convention in Boston. Turns out St. Paul can learn from Boston convention. I listened to the audio and I'm trying to imagine what our plans might look like after federal involvement.
What security or service plans would you recommend? Suggest your own ideas for managing traffic, handling additional catering and hotel business, or just admit you're planning on heading out of town the first week of next September.

I'm going to watch the media circus, both locally and nationally. I'm going to love it. I'm going to love watching how the Lori Sturdevants, , Don Shelbys, Eric Escolas, Nick Colemans and Kerri Millers of the local media report on this. It's sure to be entertaining!
I plan on buying a digital video camera and filming and submitting to YouTube all the stuff the mainstream media "Missed" as part of their reporting on the convention.
This will be fun.
Generally, Minnesotans will move aside if you use a simple, "excuse me.", Nathan, no tear gas necessary.
I'm not sure, Jim G.... I thought I saw a feature addressing that question somewhere...
