A gracious good morning on this clear and sunny California day. I'm sitting here sipping on my first delicious cup of coffee. Is it little wonder that when we talk about coffee, we get possessive? How many times have you heard, "I drank my coffee this morning." My present cup of coffee is called Vanilla Nut by Plantation Choice. Yes, I grind the coffee beans. I drink it black and it fills me up. Usually coffee and slices of fresh watermelon are the only things I have for the morning meal.
I'm always intrigued by folks morning habits. Do you get up and turn on the Mr. Coffee right away or do you have it programmed for a certain time of the day? Do you have a very special mug that hold your special brand of coffee? What's the first thing you and your coffee do together?

MY cup of coffee this morning is sadly half-cafe. I've switched over because I'm trying to get pregnant and I'm not in to morning sickness with a side order of caffine headache.
Then I add gingerbread flavored creamer & whipped cream on top~
But, at this very moment I am at work so I'm forced to drink the office coffee. Which is Starbucks, we have 3 blends the one I'm sipping on is Sumatra...its okay but not nearly strong enough for my tastes and we don't have real half and half either, we have those little plastic single serving liquid coffemate thingys. Ick....but the office is freezing so it'll have to do.
It accompanies me from that first waking sip, through the morning rituals and finally it sits an arms length away from my keyboard to keep me company until lunchtime.
I have to go with Ms. Laurun and what she states about the "RED BAG" Community Coffee. However, not all of the Community's products are equal. For me, it has to be nothing lighter than Community's "Dark Roast" and even better if it is the "New Orleans Blend" which, as you probably know, is a combination of Dark Roast and Chicory...........no cream.......no sugar..........unless I am in a "dessert" kinda mood. As for my morning coffee ritual, Mr. Coffee does the actual brewing, however, on the mornings when my sweet wife gets up before I do, see gets Mr. Coffee going.
Due to my hectic work schedule being driving and running the store, I never have the same day twice, which at times is a very good thing.
