Beautiful Outdoor Art At OSU-COTC Campus - A Photo Essay

If you have occasion to travel through central Ohio you may want to drop by Newark, Ohio to visit the lovely shared campus of Ohio State University Newark and Central Ohio Technical College. Meanwhile, follow me on my on my visit.

The sign says fishing is not allowed but I think I see a fisherman beyond that bridge. 

Let's get a closer look.

 This is  "A Day Off" by J. Seward Johnson Jr. These painted bronze sculptures are even more impressive when seen in person. I had to to touch the jeans and shirts to make myself believe that they were indeed bronze.

  This student looks very relaxed.

This guy looks deep in thought. 

He is "The Winner" by J. Seward Johnson Jr.

Yes, the chess set and table are also bronze.

This monument is a tribute to Everett D. Reese who is  perhaps a campus benefactor. 

I think I spy a campus party we can join in on before we leave.
