My two youngest kids (age 3 and 2) are driving me nuts today. They keep getting into stuff, drawing on the walls. Running around after eating posta and getting the sause all over themselves. I put them in the bath, turn around for 1 second and they grab a tube of lotion and squeeze it all into the water. It's not bath lotion, but like body cream so it is nasty.
I want to pull all my hair out...then they say something cute and I laugh at them. I love them, but it is definately one of those days.
Oh well, there's always gather to vent to. Thank God!

I finally got my daughter down for a nap a bit ago, but she has been getting in to everything today, as usual.
Plus poor baby is teething, and so she has been SUPER clingy the past few days.
OR
go to a park and let them enjoy the slides and swings and stuff.
OR
clean off the kitchen table and cover it with shaving cream and let them build a town in the cream and get some cars and make pretend roads and stuff.
It isn't too bad with the mess and it cleans up easily.
Just put a big t-shirt on each one and let them have some fun.
Relax....let them make some messes...they grow up real fast.
I have 4 kids and trust me....the messes are fun and something that they remember.
To make today worse, I was doing some laundry and stepped on one of the kids little plastic bowls and now I have about a 2-3 inch cut in the bottom of my foot. lol. It does not hurt that much anymore, but it is a pain (pun intended) to walk on. Just one of those days I guess. Oh well, work will be easy I hope. It's a holiday so that usually means very little to do. We will likely just watch movies on our projectors which will be nice.
Anyway, I will give the kids hugs and kisses an try to just focus on the cuteness of it all rather than the frusterating parts.
Again, thanks all for listening to my venting!
It has gotten better as they have gotten older. Hang in there.
Of course they have ADHD/Aspergers and ADD - so I'm afraid it never ends :)
But I love them dearly
The high point must have been when my 18 month old grabbed a bottle of salad oil, sat down in front of the refrigerator and poured the WHOLE THING out over her head. While I was on the phone, of course.
It took shampooing her hair 4 times to get it all off, and I had to soak her clothes a couple of days and wash them twice to get it out of them. Plus the kitchen smelled a little rancid for a LONG time till the part that had gotten under the (built-in) refrigerator stopped smelling...
Priceless memory though!!
That's what you are doing now: making memories...
My lil ones...now 4 and 5...they are like that from the second we get up until they are asleep. It is so hard some times I don think I will make it. One day I went upstairs to check on the one, I come back downstairs to see my other had taken all of the ashes out of the wood burning stove and tey were all over her and all over the carpet and every single thing in that room including our dogs. What a mess. I laughed then cried...u know what I meam? I have lots of days like that. I always try ad remember it wont me forever and I so want to cherish the days they are growing and ar hom too yaknow.
I think...no I knw parenting is the hardest job in the world ~ ya think? :)
Wish u all the best!!!!!! I look forward to getting to know ya!
