I have my phone numbers listed on the "Do Not Call" list. I did that because I got so tired of all the "survey" calls or advertisement calls at dinner time, or later, on the weekends, especially Sundays. And, of course a lot of the time I could not understand what they were asking.
So, what has happened this last week? I got not just one, but 4 calls wanting to do a survey about the upcoming elections and special challenges in the San Diego area. One of the calls occurred at 9:30 pm and another was at 7:00 am on Sunday. I was furious. I tried to be polite to the caller but really lost it on the 7:00 am call. And I requested they remove my name and number as I did not want to be called for those reason. And, I do not in the city limits of San Diego (I am San Diego County) and could not vote on what they were asking.
Why is it okay for the Government (County, City, State, Federal) to call us whenever they want to ask questions when it is obvious we do not want to be disturbed - especially at the times they were calling? They should honor the Do Not Call list too. Perhaps a "Do Not Call List" should be created for the government also.
Has this been happening to you? Are you receiving calls during later evening or early morning for surveys? How do you handle them?

If they are selling rug cleaning---she doesn't have a rug.
If they are selling work on her house?--she doesn't have a house.
Once I walked in on her telling some solictor she didn't have legs, I don't remember What that call was for.

Shitty country, right? Don't vote for anyone connected to those calls - a small revolt.
