Good morning all! I have been trying desperately to find a way to get the adorable kittens that were born under my mother's house spay/neutered! There are 3 of them, and I have been working with them for several months to try and tame them. They have grown quite fond of my mother and I, but are still very skiddish around ANYONE else. We have no extra money to take them to the vet, and she lives in such a SMALL, COUNTRY town that there are not the same opportunities for getting it done for free. The vets around there are not up with the times on having programs in place for this. I am thinking the cats are around 5 or 6 months old now, and there are 2 girls and 1 boy. I know that we need to get them fixed to control population, and I would really LOVE to be able to find them forever homes, but we have been loving them and taking care of them as outside cats now since we found them. I do not know what to do. How am I supposed to get them fixed? Does anyone know what I need to do? Is there anyone that can help me make this happen? Even if I am able to travel 2 hours with them to one of the closest programs to get them fixed, it will still end up costing close to $200 to get the vaccines and surgeries, and we just can not afford it. ANY ANSWERS, ANY HELP with be greatly appreciated!
Is there any one that makes donations to people to help with stuff like this? Is there anyway to get this done for free???????? With me being out of work due to back problems, and my husband was out of work for a month. My mom is single, and we are all having to pool our money for my son's Christmas. I just can not see us being able to pay for the kitty's to be fixed, but do not want them to have to go through having lots of babies either. WHAT DO I DO?????
Thank you!

Most vets are very sympathetic to the plight of homeless animals.
