Good Morning Gather or Audrey's Crazy Coffee Club

Hi everyone.  Monday is here and the start of a new work week for most.  It is a sunny day here in Coralville Ia and the temp is around 50 degrees.  I have my usual Monday planned.  At noon I practice  with my hospital choir the Heartbeats for upcoming holiday concerts.  We practice every Monday noon hour at University Hospital in Iowa City.

This afternoon I will be meeting my GF at the mall to walk our 3 miles and then enjoy hot tea.  After that I will come home and want to get outdoors to clean out the flower beds of the dead annuals.

 What is planned for your day?  Come on in and sit a spell and grab a cup of coffee.

Well, I'm at work until 4:30. Then I'm off to go shopping for a moderately priced 2 Gig SD card for Xmas. After that, It's back to my apartment to clean up since the family is coming to my apartment for Thanksgiving this year.

I sometimes get a little upset tummy from too much coffee, but I tried Foldger's Simply Smooth blend and it seems to work much better for me.

Well, this Gevalia is supposed to be pretty good. I got the free coffeemaker through them and then bought a shipment of coffee...but now my son is gone and he was the coffee drinker!

We were in the low 60s yesterday but cloudy all day. Didn't get any rain though. I am glad for the sun today. I always feel perkier when the sun is shining.

Most of the state agencies are off today, but school is in...lol... My son's grandfather, who is a retired principal and a Vietnam Vet, has always given me a hard time about being off and him having to work...lol...
I have been with the state for 9 years now. I enjoy being there.

I have found the perfect way to Gather and still have breakfast while doing it. I make the coffee first....that is a given....then I bring my bag of honey nut cerial(like Cheerios) upstairs and munch on them while I sip coffee and type. I'm so happy now. I am not forgetting breakfast anymore.

Rebecca, I started with the university whe I was 46 and had to get in 15 years in order to pull my retirement out. I retired at 61 1/2 and have never been sorry.
