Without passion what words could I say
In blending colors of our rainbow
As we traveled miles from warmer days
That led us here to our tomorrow
Yes we'll look back with a firm desire
And in silence think upon such times
To recapture the spirit of fire
And here we sit blended in such rhyme
Sometimes I joke like I used to do
And to see you smile warms up my heart
For each season has my love for you
You've mapped my life with a morning star
There were times when caution said goodbye
And rode those waves to this distant shore
As time found rain some smiles and a sigh
With hopes that lasted and never tore
So now my angel each day of truth
Has memories in the paths of when
Where there was nothing I wouldn't do
To find your love again and again
We both know twilight will make its call
Yet our sweet love still beats like a drum
For in your eyes my heart never stalls
For you the passion my warming sun

I mean this is a love poem about real love. Memories to play back and savour. And one thing is clear...you loved all the time. Isn't that the essence of true love.
Well done Bill. I think that you're feeling better now.
"You've mapped my life with a morning star"
This one I like best!!
is the lucky one to have won you over ever so gently.
WoW Brilliant...you ae such a handsome man.
and you know when we recite our marriage mantras ( at our wedding time), for the whole night we sit and do prayers and after seeing the very first morning star we promise to each other that for lifetime we will start our morning with seeing eachother's face like a morning star. That orning star is always young and we try to keep our feelings young.

Has memories in the paths of when
Where there was nothing I wouldn't do
To find your love again and again I can relate myself to these lines.
juts beautiful as it reflects the finest part of your heart
See you ...
Looks like you know what you're writing for.
teeth, so I don't know what to say.
William you must place a disclaimer that you are not responsible for tears shed during or after reading your heart touching poetry and you will not be liable for the cost of Kleenex.
You've eloquently stated of love that trancends the flesh, trancends time. This is what I think was in mind when the statement "A Love that lasts beyond time" was first penned.
I hope you feel better...I have 2 sets of wisdom teeth! My dentist told me it's very rare but he is very happy as I've got to have them removed after 50 years of silently waiting to sabotoge.
Now I'm sad as I have never had this sort of love and most likely never will.
