Some cheap secret santa stuff

I am not sure that we do a Secret Santa at work. I haven't been there long enough to know. I do love Michael's and have used many of the dollar items to put in the Christmas stockings.

Thanks fo the head up, I'm doing stockings for my husband and children I might can find some items there, thanks again.

We have two families we buy for each year - friends and colleagues with kids. Last year we did a movie night for them - we bought 2 big gift bags, microwave popcorn, individual snacks in a lunchbox variety size, candies of chocolate and kid friendly other sweets, we bought some little kid toys for the kids, a game they could play with the kids, those little 2/$1 coloring books at the dollar stores, and some individual chips bags. We apportioned them for each family, attached a bow and wrote their names on it asking them to have a great movie night - both are NetFlix fanatics so movies are in and out all of the time. We were told they thoroughly enjoyed the family approach to a gift and there was no need to return it for size or color preferences and it was easily disposed of when the gift was gone. Problem is - now we have to come up with something equally creative this year. lol
