This week the topic is Birds, I found some interesting stones and if I go back this week i will add anymore I find to this so if you enjoyed it stop back by on Friday and see if there are any new stones added.
The first one I found on the side of an angle statue that was destroyed by vandles but this part remains pretty much unharmed except some color change from where they set it on fire.

The second was a pair of doves on a black stone. I really like the black stones they stand out against the green grass. This is a popular engraving there are several stones with the same birds.

Then I came across neat native american stone with pipes and bird totems carved on it an impressive stone to me. There is a duck swimming and a couple birds of prey heads on this one.

The next one was a stone for two children with a carved dove with the wings extended as if ready to take flight.

Then i came upone a truly strange stone, sort of disturbing even to me. To see a dead dove on top of a stone that has a cross on the front with either a rat or an opposum behind the cross. There are two images of this stone the first being the close up of the bird and the the second show the cross and rat like creature.

Here are just a couple added extras i decided to throw in that i came across and didnt want to leave out. This First one the guy actually passed away on his birthday. I found it sorta sad or maybe for him, he came in to the world on this day so it was also a good day to leave it at the age of 71 back then that was a nice long life.

And a beautiful red maple
