I never would have thought of this,but the trainer told us at our puppy training class last night to never leave pantyhose laying around. The dog will start to chew on it,because they can smell your scent. If they swallow the pantyhose,there is absolutely nothing that can be done. It will ball up in their intestines and there is nothing that the vet can do. Even though I don't let Presley roam around the house, I made sure today that my sock drawer was closed. You never know what they grab and chew on.

Who knew? Those rascals can get into more stuff that you wouldn't even dream of. Luckily my dog is older and so she is calmer now. Every now and then, however, she will surprise me with her tricks. She once weaseled her way into my sister's backpack and ate all her candy (including the wrappers). Luckily it wasn't chocolate.

Thanks for the tip. Does anyone know what the rule is on chocolate? I have heard that chocolate is deadly to dogs and then my sister tells me that is isn't. What's up with that? Anybody know?

Great information! This time of year it's important to watch out for that tinsel also. Cats and dogs eat it and it can cause severe complications!
