Here's a fun recipe to make with your kids. I made some with my great neice Tesia. They were fun to make and fun to eat.
Peanut Butter Worms
Makes about 2 dozen
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1 1/2 cups dry milk powder
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
Whole raisins, currants and/or halved peanuts
1. Combine the peanut butter and honey in a food processor or mixer and mix well. Add the dry milk powder and the confectioners; sugar and mix again until smooth and well blended.
2. Turn out onto a work surface and gather the mixture into one long log. Pull off a small handful and roll into a thick worm, about the thickness of a finger. Decorate with two raisins, currants or peanut halves at one end to look like eyes. Transfer to a tray and repeat with the remaining peanut butter mixture. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. Store in an airtight container. The worms can be refrigerated for up to 1 day before serving.

Note from the book: you can also make snails by coiling up the worms and using black licorice strings for the antennae.

Shannon bet they'd be good as balls to if you didn't prefer worms.
