- Leave no factoid unturned Some angles: Is Hillary a bad tipper? Would you vote for a candidate who was rude to waitstaff? How do candidates control their message and handle whispers? (MPR's Polinaut)
- The Winds of Hell Despite the Herman Wouk-esque headline, this is about the 1940 Armistice Day Storm that killed 49 people in Minnesota. For your consideration: Can we really complain about weather today? Are you prepared for bad weather yet? (MPR News)

B. That storm was bad. But, back then things were simpler. We were more rural, more cars have 4 wheel drive, emergency vehicles are better, weather radar is better, snow removal equipment is better.
BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We have become weather wimps! Can imagine the TV news people during that! THEY WOULD BE ORGASMIC!
C. Boycott Chinese made toys. Good idea. If you can.
D. John Waters. I haven't been to the Uptown theatre in years. Do they still run the John Waters no smoking clip before the movie starts? He takes a big drag out of a heater and then says "man, that was good, but you can't have one in here".
Here ya go
"Especially a European film..."
*laughing*
I will certainly not knowingly buy anything made in China. My health and the health of my loved ones is worth far more than cheap prices.
There were toy's found in it. LOL
No one doubts that Hillary is a cold aloof person, we've known that for years. The problem is people like Hillary don't carry cash, haven't bought a gallon of milk or gas in decades because they live in a bubble. I am not sure how anyone like that could have empathy for ordinary people.
As for Armistice Day Blizzard, the most of the casualties were hunters, many stranded on the river bottoms. That could easily happen again.

Robin I think you're right. And besides, it is generally a safe topic. Not many people make small talk about religion or politics. Usually.
"The problem is people like Hillary don't carry cash, haven't bought a gallon of milk or gas in decades because they live in a bubble." - Greg. You know this reminds me of Bob Collins' seemingly annual ponderance over why the media doesn't ask politicians if they mow their own lawn.
Note: I'd also like to give everyone an open invitation to link to their relevant articles in the comments here... These topics are ones I try to feature on MPR.
