Shan was allowed to come home from the hospital today! He has to return for physical therapy and is still on antibiotics. They're going to watch his leg closely. If there is any negative change he will be right back in the hospital.
It appears likely it was Community Acquired MRSA. They can't say for sure because by the time they did the culture he had such strong antibiotics and nothing wanted to grow!
This is around more than most people think. If you ever see something that looks like a spider bite pay attention! It's important to clean the area and use antibiotic cream on the area. It's possible that might stop the infection. Wash your hands often and notice any cut or opening in your skin. That also include the bottom of your feet.
Thank you everyone for your support and prayers.

Take care
I was pleased he came home early. He realized he's going to have to build his stamina back up.
I'm taking it easy today since tonight a reading is being done of my play LUMPs. That's the thing about theatre, it goes on!
as you say... the show must go on... good luck and take it easy...
Blessings...
Don't forget about plantain. It's an amazing herb, and so plain and simple, growing in everyone's yards (well, the non-chemical yards, anyway).....Plantain pulls out infections. For my own use, I chew it into a paste and then apply it to the sore area of skin. I've rarely needed it, thank goodness - but I honor it! In fact, before picking it to use for a healing, I thank it and ask it to help me.
As a Christmas present for you, I will leave this holiday greeting on all of your photos and articles. I hope this will give you a little boost towards your husband's present.
I wish you, your husband and the rest of your family a wonderful holiday season with lots of love, joy and family time.
