Work Outing with my bosses boss

Tomorrow I am going out with some of the other supervisors in my job with the department manager (my bosses' boss) for dinner/drinks.   I have done this a few times in the past, and he is a great guy.  Seems to really want to improve the department.  It is always fun.  Plus free food and drink.  Only down side is I work 2nd shift so I have to come back to work after words which of course means....NO Drinking beer :-(  so sad, nothing is better than beer on a bosses corporate credit card.

I am sure the manager would not mind, it is more of a personal choice. I REALLY enjoy a beer here and there. Because I work 2nd shift I made it a rule that I won't drink before work. It's not a good thing to smell like beer at work. If I start doing this then I will start drinking before work, and all that. Not a big deal, makes me enjoy it more after work.

Nothing like a nice beer at 1:30AM after work while watching some DVR'd TV show. mmmmmm

Good thinking Michael. I used to work with people that drank before work. They did okay uaually but some of our areas were dangerous. Made you not trust them.
