shame

peering at me in secret

a judgement awaits you

embarrassment and pain

emanates from your aura

knowing your shame

You can hide your eyes

I don't need to see

we were connected

your feelings a part of me

Follow your path

wherever it may lead

back with forgiveness

that I no longer need

Forgiveness that you no longer need - those words speak to me of peace or going on beyond the pain. I liked the way this poem seemed to come full circle.
