Update on missing gift card: Yay! Good news!

Gather replied yesterday, and here's what they wrote:

Thank you so much for your patience!  We have been out of stock for Uncommon Goods cards, so it looks like you got mailed an empty envelope by mistake.  Fear not, we will send you your card as soon as the new order of these cards arrives here.  The order has been placed, and we are hopeful it will arrive late this week or early next week.  Thank you again for your patience.

That's too funny... They were out of gift cards so they were hoping that you wouldn't notice that it was just an empty envelope... Then they wouldn't have to mail you one at all! :)
