Giada De Laurentiis Big Announcement on Today Show

Did any of you catch Giada's big announcement on the Today Show, Monday, Nov. 5, 2007? She's pregnant? It's a girl and due in early April? They showed her telling her boss and followed her to some Dr. apts? They had several segments with her and things to do with her pregancy.

Guess Giada will have a little helper in the kitchen? I bet they'll have fun in the kitchen together. I wish her and her husband well.

Since I'm usually at work I didn't realize that Giada was a regular on the Today show other than cooking. Does anyone know what her job is there now or is it just because she's pregnant?

My husband and I have this running joke that Giada is his "girlfriend" and Tyler Florence is my "boyfriend."

Thanks for sharing the news. I hadn't heard this yet. I heard something about her and the today show before, but can't remember what it was. I think they wer saying she was going to be a regular though.
