Yes. I started wrapping christmas gifts. It is early, but in the long run, it will save me time and sanity later on as it gets closer to Christmas.
I still have a few items that I have to make, two scrapbooks for our moms, a teddy bear for my grandson, curtains for my best friend's soon to be craft room, fix a small section of the vest on my granddaughter's teddy bear and put on the elastic loops for her jacket and then I can wrap all that up!
I will still have to make up the gifts-in-a-jar, but there is no wrapping on those! TEE HEE Another good reason to make them! All I have to do is cut a bunch of Christmas fabric into circles for the lids. I have to cut enough for five to six dozen jars, depending on how many my best friend and my daughter wants to make. (I know I am making two dozen jars myself and I think my daughter is, too.) If I cut too many, I am just that much ahead for next Christmas! :) Gotta love that!
It won't take me too much longer and I will be done with my mother-in-law's scrapbook. I haven't even started on my mom's because I have to get pictures of the kids printed. I will just take my memory stick to Wal-Mart and print them out there. It will be cheaper than printing them here at home, especially since I am out of color ink and I am not sure what time cartridges will be delivered to me today. (I hate to waste all that ink and spend more on the cartridges when it is cheaper to use Wal-Mart's photo paper and ink at their kiosk! And since I already have all the scrapbook supplies (doubles on some things and didn't even know it!), I don't have to buy any extras!
I called my best friend's dad so he could go over to her house and get me the measurements on her craft room window so I can get started on those curtains. I don't want to wait until the last minute to try and get them made. If I can find a teddy bear made in the USA, I will buy it rather than try to make another one, because I don't have any boyish looking fabric at the moment. And since I am trying to save money, I hate the idea of spending any more money than I have too.

I wrapped all the presents for my family in Denmark this summer, and they are left in the closet in my old room. Now, I had a list of what I had bought, but I lost it:( I do know most of what I have gotten, although I think I need to send my brother in to do a check for me.
Way to go for being so organized.
