Have you started your holiday shopping yet?

We are on a very tight budget this year, due to hubby's cancer, so I've been trying to find things when they are on sale, plus send in for some neat things for the kids that all you need are upcs. I really love homemade/handmade items myself and one year our family did that for the holidays, we only gave homemade/handmade items and it was so much fun and the presents meant so much because they came from the heart. Anyways I'm blabbing here, but wanted to see if anyone else has started their shopping. Thanks for reading, Rebekka

My shopping is pretty much done. I have a few more things to get for my son probably. And I still need to get one more thing for my husband, but that's it.

My shopping is easy, though. I don't buy presents for anyone but my son, husband, two nieces and pets. We send gift cards to our parents, and no one else gets presents from us.

Ive been done for a while just waiting for them all to start arriving *lol* I only buy for Mikey, Chris my son and Joyce my PCA she is the best! I am blessed to have her! Everyone else gets gift cards to my online store.

I started earlier this year. If I find something while I'm shopping that I think will make a good gift I buy it. This helps spread the expenses throughout the year. I'm usually further ahead than I am this year.

I haven't started yet because I don't give out that many presents. This year my mom, my best friend, and a couple other friends will be the only people I give gifts to. Plus I usually just give gift cards unless I know of something specific.

I have my 2 sons and one DIL done. I still have plenty left to do. I want to make something pesonal for my parents. I don't know. I have a son getting married on the 15th of December so I'd better get busy with whatever I decide to do.

I'm waiting for gift cards from Gather and Netwinner and then I plan to go on-line.

We had hoped to fly to be with my oldest daughter and her husband but right now with my husband fighting a major staph infection I'm not willing to buy the tickets until we see how he does.

I get whatever I find that is suitable all year long. I guess I am lucky because my family does not care if something comes from a yard sale or flea market. But then a lot of people in my family are collectors. My sister collect Norman Rockwell things. My brother in into Coke and M&M things. My husband LOVES Star Trek things! Even my daugther loves vintage things! Also I work at Meijer and when things go on clearance I tend to stock up on things for the next years gift giving occasions.

I mostly have to buy food items for my gifts-in-a-jar and my holiday baking. Everything else is pretty much either handmade or already bought.

No, we are on a tight budget as well. But I was thinking of making gifts in a jar or make a cake in a jar for the in laws for Christmas. Plus different holiday candys and treats. As I enjoy making those alot.

EEEK!! No I havent even started! Halloween is barely over..don't rush me LOL I like to do handmade stuff ..sometimes i make banana bread or some kind of quick bread and cookies, lemon bars and stuff and buy some mugs and make hot cocoa mix and give that.. no clue what i'll be giving this year, except my honey is getting an Archos media player..besides that, no clue! i like to do last minute shopping.. i like to Christmas shop when the holiday spirit actually hits me.. which rarely happens before at least a week before Christmas these days :O)
