Whoo hoo Chris! Way to go! Laz, one of the best reasons for being a wombat is the support you get, whether it's good news or bad. There's no secret handshake, but sooner or later, you'll get tagged to host a wombat thread. We promise not to trash the joint too bad.

But I am Nanowriting (albeit not as fast as Jamie HA) and I entered the Amazon contest. The Nanowriting keeps my mind off the Amazon contest. Good strategy, don't you think? :-)

I just joined Wombats (still getting to know Gather). I entered the db contest, and am looking around, thrilled at what I find here.

I have a book published by Amacom Press called Where We Stand, also available on Amazom, etc. Its a non fiction book about the environment with an unusual optimistic view point. Not a lot of humor, but very passionate.

I'm working on finding another agent (long story but agent #2 and I parted ways in July.) *sigh* I also have my novel Dark Obsession (which made it to the second round in FCR as an editor pick) in the Golden Heart this year. Plus a novella up for consideration in an anthology (will find out if it's accepted in January).
