What's The Best Thing You've Ever Won?

A couple days ago I won the Gather Search Challenge. It was such a surprise because I never win anything! The only things I can think of were some Chargers tickets back in the 6th grade and 2 concert tickets for any summer show at the Del Mar Fair.

 What's some awesome things that you all have won?

My cousin was in town (Kansas City) from Cincinnati. I decided to take him to a local casino. We both started with $20 each and made a pact that if one of us wins big, we would split the winnings. I won $380 on a slot machine. I gave him his half and we quit while we were ahead.

Congratulations on winning the challenge Leslie. I have actually had some good luck in some contests through my life. Especially in radio station call in contests. Not as much recently in fact hardly at all. The biggest thing I ever won I think though was $5000.00 in the lottery a few years back. On a definite personal level and the biggest thing that I have ever won that far exceeds all else is the "heart of the beautiful Terry"

I hit a rayol flush at the palms casino here in vegas for $1,200
i won 7 out of 7 on keno here for $334
i hit 5 out of 5 on keno in Maryland for $350
here at one of the stores here(Vons) i hit a 6 out of 6,a 5 out of 5 and a 7 out of 8 all in the same spin for $500 +
i also hit in 2006 Fantasy Football for $1,000 ,all above here in Vegas with the exception of the one win in maryland
its morning,thats all i canthink of at the moment

21 years ago I won a 5 star holiday in Crete , It was my first time in an aeroplane and it was a holiday I will never forget , I also won a downie about 40 years ago , too , Nothing in between nor since though , xx

A company I worked for had a lottery drawing every month and nobody won for awhile, so the amount kept building up. I won and had to split it with someone else, but we each got $500, I was thrilled.

I also was awarded Community Service Award at my work..it was a big deal...I got to get my picture professionally done & everything for it...(they paid for it all) & I also got $100.

Oh I got big candy bars from my last job when I dressed up for HAlloween, but that wasn't anything special cause everyone that dressed up got one. I almost won a 2 nights stay at a hotel cause I was pregnant & dressed up like a pumpkin (I have a pic in my pictures on here...) but I lost to a drag queen dude :o(. They said "Looks like you don't really need the 2 nights stay..." I was like "WTFudge? Like being pregnant doesn't need a vacation?" I don't want to know what a drag queen would do in a hotel LOL! jk ;o)

I got a $25 gift card from Gather for inviting 5 people! That has been my highlight for this year as far as "winning" something haha ;o)

I have been very very lucky. I won a trip to Colorado about 15 years ago - I've won numerous cds/albums. I've won gift certificates. I recently won a car diagnostic thingie. I've won higher end sneakers. I have won subscriptions to things for my kids. But the best would probably be the trip :)

I won airfare for two and hotel and tickets to the Gilroy Garlic festival several years ago. We had never even heard of the Gilroy garlic festival until I got the call that the entry I put in a drawing at a radio station remote won. It was a great trip and a lot of fun.

I also won a 42" flat screen tv at work a couple of years ago. I was in a drawing for working a whole lot of overtime. I never thought I stood a chance of actually winning.

Well, I won a Sony digital camcorder a couple years ago through an instant win contest (I believe sponsored by Reese's). It seems that lately I've been on a roll over the past week or two with some bigger wins. I won a year's supply of milk (in the form of a check) and a Keurig coffee maker, complete with the coffee K-cups. Now I'm just waiting for the big one to hit! ;)
