Science has found that each of us and animals have glands that have smells that attract the opposite sex. So if a man or woman is promiscuous and kisses too many men, then the chances are greater for chosing the wrong mate.
In an experiment, two love birds were together happily for years. The gland was removed from their beaks and each flew away. So you may marry someone who attracts you glandularly but you have nothing else in common, so you wind up in divorce. Is this true? Yes! So don't go kissing too many men or women before developing a relationship based on interests than take the gland test. YOu're family smells like you like. My husband says, "You smell like my wife. Not romantic, but we've been married 36 years. If you kiss too many the odds of finding the right mate is 1 in 500.
Dr. Carol's believe it or not.
HOw do I know this? I read a lot of dumb facts. This is just one.

Do we just lower our standards? It seems that we need a different kind of marriage that is based on compatibility and not on sex....maybe we need lovers instead of husbands, a whole different way of organizing our lives.
I'm not so sure about this.
I DO agree with the thought that being too promiscuous can result in problems later in life, in relationships and especially marriage, but my reasons are Bible based, not chemically.
Interesting thought, though.
"You smell gooooooood....
really, you smell really goooooood....
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
nite nite.
Sniffed once, found out it was a pretty stinky deal.
Made me think of Scent of a Woman. What a tango!

Thanks for your article.
I've read that the sense of smell elicits
more memories than any other sense.
I still can't figure out how kissing more guys will cause one not to find the right mate.
I dated and kissed my fair share of guys and while it did take longer than I hoped, I did finally find the right guy. The right chemistry was there. We dated for only 3 months before getting married and we've been happily married for 17 years. I know 3 months isn't a long time to REALLY get to know someone and the novelty of the situation was part of it, but the chemistry was there. It felt right and even after several years of meeting and dating losers, getting my heart broken time and time again, I was about to give up on finding the right one, but I still took the leap of faith and acted on the mutual feelings/chemical/emotional attraction we shared. It proved to be the right choice. The real bonus is that we do share the same interests/beliefs/ morals. We are eachothers best friends and truely enjoy eachothers company. There is noone else I'd rather spend time with.
Maybe, if we just keep our noses where they belong and keep our glands, we will be safe!
We ar not animals. At least, I have no relations to them...I don't know about anybody else.
PAY IT FORWARD
Didn't you ever go to Biology class when you were in school or did you just smoke dope before class? Accept it or go back to biology class. Humans ARE animals. We are just more evolved and have the ability to think at a higher level and walk up right.
If we aren't animals, then tell me why we have the same organs other mammals have. Starting with bones, blood vessels, various organs which sustain our lives and enable us to reproduce, skin, hair (or fur for other species), the ability to feed milk to our young. We have the 5 major senses, although they aren't quite as keen as our four legged furred friends. A sense of smell, hearing, sight, touch. We have primal urges (although not as strong as the four legged, furred species.)that we just can't seem to shrug off. Humans are a much higher developed specie of animal.

"For over 20 years I thought I was working on evolution....But there was not one thing I knew about it... So for the last few weeks I've tried putting a simple question to various people, the question is, "Can you tell me any one thing that is true?" I tried that question on the Geology staff at the Field Museum of Natural History and the only answer I got was silence. I tried it on the members of the Evolutionary Morphology Seminar in the University of Chicago, a very prestigious body of Evolutionists, and all I got there was silence for a long time and eventually one person said, "Yes, I do know one thing, it ought not to be taught in High School"....over the past few years....you have experienced a shift from Evolution as knowledge to evolution as faith...Evolution not only conveys no knowledge, but seems somehow to convey anti-knowledge."
This is what I believe:
(Gen 1:27) So God created man in his {own} image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(Gen 1:28) And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
As, Dr. Sorren Luthrip, Swedish Embryologist said:
"I believe that one day the Darwinian myth will be ranked the greatest deceit in the history of science. When this happens, many people will pose the question, "How did this ever happen?"
Where did I say anything about man coming from apes? Uhh...Nowhere. You're avoiding my question and missing my point completely. Yes. We are ALL God's creatures. Living, breathing, reproducing creatures, ....very complex creatures...or...animals. We are part of the animal kingdom. Part of the food chain. We are the specie called, 'human'. I don't dispute anything the Bible teaches, but I don't disbelieve biology. The proof is there. It has been for a long, long time.
Are you really that close minded?
But since you did bring up evolution. There is proof that animals have evolved. Man has evolved, whether he came from apes is still up for debate since there is a missing link yet to be found. How can one argue evolution hasn't occured when paeleontologists/archiologists have tons found proof? We have proof in our museums.
You know? The Bible has a lot of merit. I believe what the Bible says. But it leaves out things like dinasours/man's developement/the changes animals have gone through to adapt to their environment....AKA evolution. THese are all things we have proof of, but nowhere in the bible are any of these mentioned.
Open your mind, Felix. You might just learn something. Or...does ignorance=blissfulness.
Now who's being ignorant? Evolution has never been proven.
"The creation account in Genesis and the theory of evolution could not be reconciled. One must be right and the other wrong. The story of the fossils agreed with the account of Genesis. In the oldest rocks we did not find a series of fossils covering the gradual changes from the most primitive creatures to developed forms, but rather in the oldest rocks, developed species suddenly appeared. Between every species there was a complete absence of intermediate fossils." *D.B. Gower, "Scientist Rejects Evolution, " Kentish Times, England, December 11, 1975, p. 4. [Biochemist.]
"Evolution is baseless and quite incredible."—*John Ambrose Fleming, President, British Association for Advancement of Science, in The Unleashing of Evolutionary Thought.
"It is not the duty of science to defend the theory of evolution, and stick by it to the bitter end—no matter which illogical and unsupported conclusions it offers. On the contrary, it is expected that scientists recognize the patently obvious impossibility of Darwin's pronouncements and predictions . . Let's cut the umbilical cord that tied us down to Darwin for such a long time. It is choking us and holding us back."—I.L. Cohen, Darwin Was Wrong: A Study in Probabilities (1985).
"A close inspection discovers an empirical impossibility to be inherent in the idea of evolution." Dr. Nils Heribert-Nilsson, Swedish botanist and geneticist
"We have now the remarkable spectacle that just when many scientific
men are agreed that there is no part of the Darwinian system that is of any
great influence, and that, as a whole, the theory is not only unproved, but
impossible, the ignorant, half-educated masses have acquired the idea that it is to be accepted as a fundamental fact." Dr. Thomas Dwight, famed professor at Harvard University
"The pathetic thing about it is that many scientists are trying to prove the doctrine of evolution, which no science can do."
Dr. Robert A. Milikan, physicist and Nobel Prize winner
