It Might Have Been A Sign!!!

Passing the truck stop in the neighboring town of Port Barre, Louisiana, I looked over and had to laugh.

The usually lit-up "CASINO" sign on the front of the building was only partially lighted.  The C and the O were both burned out, or off for some reason.  The resulting sign, blazing into the darkness?  ASIN.

reminds me of a gas station sign I saw one night when I was young and dumb and half drunk in the passenger seat... it was a Shell station but all that was lit was HELL and I felt like I was there!
