You're the reason I'm alive

man oh man,, you scare me sometime..
you write so well, my thought is are you writing from true feeling or just writing,,

Personally, I think this young man is writing from his emotions...and, hey, that's where all great writing starts! Young man, if you want to become a great writer, though, let me tell you about some of those "drudge" classes...English, grammar, spelling, that you really need to work on for your own improvement. Forget about everything else in the world except your writing...would you want to have written a poem for somebody very special, and have him/her laugh because it was full of errors...this is real life... people can be cruel...so, why not get a word processor if you don't have one, and write your poems there first...using their assistance to check yourself. Now they are NOT always right...you may not know that, but they merely pull up a possible change for you to consider...so you can begin to learn...and, hey, get a dictionary site online and recheck if you are unsure...

Why am I saying all this...because your basic skill is good enough that I want you to know, at your age, that it can continue to be good and even better...so work on the part that nobody will really notice, except people like me, until that poem is meant for somebody special, or to be published somewhere...don't let your work be discounted because you haven't taken the time to proofread...

I liked this poem...however, if this girl is worthy of your poetry, then she wouldn't be laughing at it with her friends...make that clear to her and see if she stands up to your personal feelings...
