This was an interesting movie about life in a sanitarium. For all that I've heard about this movie, there were a lot of unexpected scenes, including the ending. I'm very surprised that I've never heard about it, for as many times as I've heard about this movie and how great it is.
I've long heard about the cruelty of Nurse Ratched, but never realized the subtle manipulation she uses.
Jack Nicholson never impressed me. There's something about him that I just don't like. That's still the case here, but it fits to the character that he plays. I had no idea how many familiar faces I'd see in this movie. Danny DeVito, Christopher Lloyd, Vincent Schiavelli, and a few more "hey isn't that's?" that you know you know from somewhere.
