Stephanie Shimerdla has the most awesome collection of special effect brushes for photoshop--if you ever wanted a fairy godfather to pimp your artwork, she has the juice. She also makes exquisite use of css on her website. I'll be hanging out with Stepanie for a while. She puts all her toys in creative commons, with a request that she be credited and that you let her know where you are using her stuff. Hail Stephanie, Goddess of Photoshop Brushes!!!

Thank you!!
It looks interesting and I want to do be in this talent .You are very talented.
Lynn, if you have a scanner or a digial camera, you have some of these tools. nobody learns this in one day, and they spend a lot of time with the undo button (CTRL-Z)
I really do recommend the Steve Caplin book over all the others i have ever seen. Check to see if your library has it, or check out his website: http://howtocheatinphotoshop.com
Thanks, Denise, Golds, Christina.
You do not have to have photoshop, you can use GIMP (free) or Paintshop Pro (used to be about $75) . The techniques are the same, but the names and buttons look different. Also, all cameras and scanners come with some kind of eciting software, although it tends to feature cute picture frames and captions. But a lot fo the other features are there.
