Who is your favorite band and why??

Mine would have to be Bon Jovi, I grew up on his music due to having an uncle who was only 16 or 17 when I was born, and was obessed with Jon and the boys, and still is to this day! I've even got my baby boy listening to it and hes not even here yet :)

Though I've gotten into a lot of genres, Led Zeppelin is still the top of the list. They (along with the Stones, Deep Purple and Sabbath) rescued rock and roll from the peace sign flashing grinning hippie sound of the Beatles.

Aside from from nearly inventing metal, they tuned millions of Americans into their own blues heritage and introduced them to world music via Indian and North African scales. (Kashmir!) A Zep album had a little of everything; folk, blues, country, funk and reggae.

Bon Jovi and have been for 23 years. Heard Livin on a Prayer on the radio and liked it, then I saw the video on TV, fell in love with Jon on the spot and have been hooked ever since. I've seen them 3 times in concert, hoping to go for a 4th time next year when they visit Australia. Bon Jovi rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
