Or, I should say, my kids are down for the night, and Alexandria is down. Let's hope it's for the night!
So, what did I get done today? Well, honestly, not much. I got up and we took Nick into work (last night, we met him at work, and drove 1 vehicle over to the mall, then we agreed I'd just bring him in this morning, thus allowing me to grab his paycheck). After droping him off and grabbing his paycheck, I let Gilly get a chicken nugget meal for lunch while I drove back to this end of town. We had to stop at home long enough for me to toss the dead phone on the charger, then head off to the bank.
By the time I got our rent money orders made up (we don't use checks), and went to grab gas, I was just in time to get Gilly back and on the bus. I only went inside long enough to grab her backpack, and my phone, then as soon as she was on the bus, I headed out to meet Brooke to pick Alex up.
I'm glad I took Alex for the weekend. It gives Brooke a break, and I get to get my fill of lil Miss Alex this weekend. I think she may be teething- she's a teeny bit fussy, has a low fever, and is chewing the heck out of her pacifier tonight.
Once I got her fed, cuddled, her bottom changed, and she was still a bit fussy, I laid her down in her bed and closed the door. She fussed for a few moments, but when I checked on her 5 minutes later, she was out for the count.
Now, let's just hope it's for the night. Tomorrow we have to get money orders out to pay some bills, then we need to run around a bit. Not much, just a bit of running. I also have her Halloween costume, and Brooke wants more pics of her in it. :)
Should be a tiring but fun day!
