I picked Alex up at around 1 this afternoon. Right after picking her up, she and I went shopping to K-mart, and she got a new toy, and some new spoons. I also grabbed a twin size blanket to use on the ground for her. I'm sure we'll get use out of it afterwards, too.
She wasn't really happy with me once we got about 10 minutes from home, but she played nice and quiet for a bit while I unpacked the car, then we had a butt changing, and ate a container of apples with oatmeal in it.
Now, she's laying quietly in her portacrib, scratching at the netting. I think she likes the sound, but she's definitely tired! I rocked her for a bit before laying her down. My livingroom looks like Baby Depot exploded on it!!
Anyway, we plan to have lots of fun this weekend!
